If your regulator is the FDIC, FRB or NCUA, you can stop reading here unless you wish to broaden your knowledge.
On April 8, 2025, the OCC issued Bulletin 2025-6 “Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Housing Act, and Equal Credit Opportunity Act: OCC Contact Information for Certain Notices and Posters”. The Bulletin rescinded an earlier bulletin (2021-35) which last updated contact information. The changes are effective 90 days from the bulletin issuance (July 7, 2025).
The good news is there are no changes to your Equal Housing Lender or Regulation B Adverse Action Notice addresses. The Equal Housing Lender poster address remains:
Office of the Comptroller of the Currency
Customer Assistance Group
P.O. Box 53570
Houston, TX 77052
As does the Regulation B Adverse Action Notice. The only difference in the Adverse Action Notice is if your institution has assets over $10 billion, your contact is the CFPB:
Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
1700 G St. NW
Washington, DC 20552
The original OCC Bulletin showed the zip code for the CFPB as different than shown in Regulation B. Regulation shows the CFPB address as 20552, the April OCC bulletin showed 20006. This was corrected in a July 8, 2025 updated bulletin.
The address to be shown on the CRA Lobby Notice is where this gets tricky. The Bulletin shows the consolidation of offices and combining of contact information. The most notable changes are removing the Chicago address and changing the addresses for Dallas and New York. The contact’s name and addresses from the bulletin are below:

The OCC website Locations page contains a breakdown by location of OCC supervision. This page breaks out which region a state belongs to. While reviewing this page, we observed multiple entries with differing addresses for the states below:
- Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan– East/Northeast and West/Midwest
- Kentucky, Virgina and West Virginia – East/Northeast and South/Southwest
- Colorado – South/Southwest and West/Midwest
TCA reached out to the OCC and their explanation was the differing addresses depend on the Bank’s asset size. A Bank would need to reach out to their OCC safety/soundness contact to determine the correct address. For example, if your institution is in Illinois, your signage would either list the Denver or New York address, and at this point, only your OCC examiner can tell you which is correct.
You have a couple of months to get that correct information from your examiner. Other than that, TCA is A Better Way and can help with your compliance, AML/CFT and fair lending needs. Contact us at [email protected] or (800) 934-7347.
