covid 19 reopening phases

Covid-19 and Compliance Engagements

Throughout this pandemic, TCA Compliance has looked to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for guidance on how best to manage the effects of Covid-19 on our business.

Now that stay-at-home orders are being lifted and businesses are reopening, we’ve again relied on the CDC in developing a strategy to protect the health of both your staff members and ours when on-site compliance engagements begin again.

We have shared and discussed the CDC’s guidelines with all staff members and developed a series of protocols for TCA Consultants to follow. We provided masks, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes for each Consultant to use when they are on-site with you.

Consultants are required to self-monitor their temperature before entering your building. If their temperature is high or they are feeling ill, we have instructed them to stay home and seek medical attention. In the unlikely event that a Consultant becomes ill, we will have  a plan in place to complete the assignment.

Even as the pandemic recedes, we understand that you still may prefer no or minimum contact with those outside your organization. Keep in mind, TCA has successfully performed off-site compliance reviews for years. We recently published the article Considerations for Managing an Offsite Review; the article contains some tips and best practices you’ll find useful.

On-site or off-site, we provide A Better Way to manage your institution’s compliance risk. If you have questions or want to explore other ways of working together, please call us at 800-934-REGS or send an email to [email protected].

We are here to help, and we wish you and your team continued good health.
